Passed away at home on April 24, 2016 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Woodcock) for 56 years. Loving father of Kenneth (Kim), Warren (Michelle) and Wendy Crough (Stephen). Cherished Grandpa of Azaria, Veronica and Cedric, and Christopher, Timothy and Adam. Great Grandpa of Talia. Pre-deceased by his parents Victor and Eva-Mae Sweeting, sisters Velma and Florence and brothers Percy, George and Lloyd. Visitation will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Thursday, April 28th from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
