Hasler, Daniel Arthur; After a long courageous battle with cancer, Dan passed away surrounded by love, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 57 years to Lorraine Robinson. Devoted father of Deann Moase (Ian) and Kimberly Hasler. Proud Papa of Abbey Moase and Evan Hasler, his greatest joys. Loving brother of Janis Hasler. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his extended family and friends, and his faithful dogs, Maggie and Millie, who were always by his side. Dan will be remembered for his quiet strength, his kind spirit, and his deep love for his family. His warm presence, steady guidance, and sense of humour touched all who knew him.
A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. Friends are invited to gather on Saturday, August 16, 2025 with visitation from 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm, with a reception to follow. In honour of Dan’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
