Daniel Thomas Parsons

Passed away unexpectedly as a result of an accident on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the age of 41. Dan will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Ashley (née Jewett) and their children, Teddy and Avery.

He will always be remembered by his parents, Thomas and Patricia (née Hanrahan) Parsons and his parents-in-law, Patrick and Agatha (née Moore) Jewett.

Dear brother of Deanna Marshall (née Parsons). Beloved brother-in-law to Scott and Anna (née Jewett) Bousfield and Michelle Jewett. God-brother and best friend to Dana Lee and family. Loved and cherished by his extended family and friends. Forever remembered as a Warrior by his swimming family.

Children and adults alike were immediately drawn to Dan’s warm, fun, charismatic personality. A passionate and accomplished swimmer and triathlete, Dan could be found swimming, running, and biking his way through the rolling hills of his Douro-Dummer community, training for his next big race. Dan lived for his family; always a loving son and the world’s best dad and husband.

A celebration of Dan’s life will take place on November 9, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Peterborough-Waterfront from 1-5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to his children’s educational fund (e-transfer can be sent [email protected]) or Five Counties Children’s Treatment Center would be greatly appreciated.
