Passed into eternal rest at home on Friday, December 20, 2024. Beloved son of the late Thelma (d. 2016) and the late James “Sonny” Reid (d. 1989). Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gail Montgomery (Ken), Sharon Foster (late Laurie, d. 2023), Gerry Reid (Dale), Jackie Middleton (Doug), Brian “Yogi” Reid, the late Gary Reid (d. 2005) and the late Fred Reid (d. 2009) (Roxanne). Loving uncle and great-uncle to many. Sadly missed by many cousins, extended family and friends.
Darrell was a long-time employee of the Carousel Restaurant and the Holiday Inn.
Darrell’s family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10 - 11 am at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St, followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 11am.
