Hawkins, Doreen Ruth (nee Noble), after a short illness, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Cal. Cherished and treasured mom of Sherlene Challice (d. Garnet), Sheila McKenna (Joe), Cathy Arsenault (d. Ron), Stuart Hawkins (Geneva), Deb Simpson (Doug), Rick Hawkins (Wendy) and Bev Harrington (Mike). Loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Ken Noble (d.) and sister-in-law Joan, and sister-in-law to Joanne (d.) and Gordon (d.) Stockdale. Dear aunt to 3. Predeceased by parents John and Alma Noble.

Family and friends will be received at the Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Tuesday, January 13th from 10:45 am to 11:45 am. Service to follow in the chapel at 12:00 pm.

Special thanks to the nursing staff of Peterborough Regional Health Centre, the Ontario Health atHome (HISH Program), and PSWs involved in her care. Many thanks to the staff at Jackson Creek Retirement Home for 4 years of happy memories - she loved living there.
