GUNSOLUS, Dorothy Helen “Dot” – Exceptional knitter and avid Leaf Fan who enjoyed playing bingo and slots. – Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, May 23, 2010, in her 87th year. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Gordon “Gus” Gunsolus. Loving mother of David, Gary (Nancy), Jim (Marg Hume), Peter, and Cathy O’Brien (Larry). Dear Nanny to Christopher & Melissa, Steven & Michael, Jennifer, Stephanie and Ksandra. Great grandmother of Gavin & Lily, Madelynn, Danica & Cadance. Dear sister of Elizabeth “Bet” Brooks of Cobourg, and the late Jean Owen & Ruth Lewis. She will also be lovingly remembered by her cousin Claire Froste and many nieces & nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Friday, May 28, at 1 pm, with visiting one hour prior (noon – 1 pm).
