Dear Drew
Heaven will be a better place now you have joined.  Your infectious smile and sense of humour will be missed by all.  Rest in peace and when the stars are out I will know one of them is you watching over us!

I am so sorry to hear of Drew's passing. Taken much to early. Drew and I both attended Carleton for our Social Work degrees. He was a gentle, warm and caring man. My condolences for the family... he was a wonderful man.

I'd like to pass on condolences to Drew's family.  We completed our BSW's in the same program then crossed paths in relation to our work in the Mental Health field.  He was a lovely man with a compassionate heart. It was a pleasure to work with him and know him even a little.  I'm sorry for the family.

How does one find the right words to say good bye to a friend? My heart breaks for his children, Laura and Mom but you know he loved you all very much. He is a great man who loved life and has left many with great memories and tons of laughs. I will miss you Drew.  Safe travels my friend and be sure to have rice pudding on the way!!!!

My heart is so sad  so for all of you at this time. Drew will be missed . He was a caring and compassionate person who gave much to so many and made such a positive difference in the lives of those he worked with and came in contact with. His love for his family and friends was evidenced by his actions. Although his journey here on earth was shortened, the things he did along the way counted and I know he savored the moments. May memories bring comfort in the days ahead.

Drew was always there for me and I have so many great memories of him I will treasure forever.  I worked with him in Peterborough and he will be greatly missed but so fondly remembered always too.

Drew was a very special guy and had a great sense of humour.  We knew him as long as our daughter-in-law, Laura and enjoyed his wit and sincerity and treated him as a good friend.  We also enjoyed his kids as well.  He has left us much too soon and will be forever missed and in our hearts. Drew worked alongside us for many years, showing that he cared for youth and their circumstances. He always gave over and above expectations and looked for innovative ways in which to serve his community. He will leave a gaping hole in the community.

Drew had a way of always making you laugh even when you wanted to cry.  He is a longtime family friend and we are so sorry for all of you especially Kaitlyn and Kale.  My deepest sympathy to both of you.  As well to you Laura and your family.  Rest in peace Drew.  Shelly

We first met Drew when he was a member of the EMS team in St. Catharine's in the very early 80's.  He left the service to explore another career and he certainly found his calling.  His passing has rekindled fond memories and funny stories of his life as a paramedic.  He will be missed.
