HILL, Elaine Shirley: Peacefully at the PRHC on Thursday, May 9, 2019, with her family by her side, in her 72nd year, after a valiant struggle with cancer. Elaine, dearly beloved wife of August “Gus”, and loving mother of Cindy Jelly, Christine (Harold) Cowen, and step-daughter Linda Hill (Gary Clarkson). Beloved Grandma of Davis, Sarah, and Danika. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends are invited to a Memorial Reception to be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Sunday, May 26th, from 2 – 4 p.m. Words of Remembrance at 3:30 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
