Davis, Elva Marion – At Centennial Place, Millbrook on Sunday October 26, 2014 in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Ormond (Pete) Davis. Loving mother of Paul (Penny), Brenda (Hally Payne) and Philip (Wendy). Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Melissa, Michael, Kirsten, Jacob, Jamie and Erin. Great grandmother of Jared, Jack, Alanna and Maddox. Predeceased by her sisters Pearl, Maurietta, Edna, Florence, Luella and her brother Melville. Elva will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the loving and attentive care given by the staff at Centennial Place, her final days were filled with kind words and many hugs. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Lakefield Cemetery.
