December 1st 1945-April 24th 2022
Passed away peacefully at PRHC on Sunday April 24th in his 77th year after a seven year battle with breast cancer.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Linda (nee Downes), his fur baby Misty and his step children Jennifer Lamore (Vincent Distefano), Alex Lamore (Melissa dec. Jan.13), and Andrew Lamore (Meghna Chakrabarti) His grandchildren Megan Pettipas and Murphy Lamore; Allan and Biman Lamore.
Survived by his sister Norine Fraley (Joe) and his brother Douglas (Annette), nephews Ron and Quinn. Predeceased by his sisters Lorna Sanders and Brenda Sanders. Predeceased by his parents Ernest Maxwell and Viva Beth Clark.
Ken worked at many positions during his work life including underground at the Sudbury Nickel Mine.
Aquamation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Community Alternative Funeral Services Ltd.
An interment will take place at Little Lake Cemetery on Saturday September 17th at 12 p.m. with a reception to follow at Ashburnham Funeral Home from 1 to 3 p.m.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Peterborough Humane Society or Slay Society Inc. (Glioblastoma Ottawa Support).
