Esther Isabel Meiklejohn Chynoweth

Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on April 17, 2015 in her 91st year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jack Chynoweth.

Loving mother of Peter (Sharon) of Yellowknife, NWT, Wendy (Ed Vit) Chynoweth-Vit of Ajax, and Trevor (Susan) Chynoweth of Keene. Grandmother to Evan, Emma and Molly Chynoweth, Jesse, Nick and Julia Vit and Steve (Coral) Christie of Cochrane, AB and Heather (Jeff) Black of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and Great-Grandmother (G. G.) to Tekerra and Lucas Christie.

Daugher of the late Murray and Nellie Meiklejohn. Sister of the late Gordon (Gladys) Meiklejohn, the late Cameron (Evelyn) Meiklejohn and Denton (Marilynne) Meiklejohn. She will also be missed and remembered by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and many, many friends.

At her request, cremation has already taken place. A visitation will occur on Tuesday, April 21 at 10:00 am at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 360 Reid Street, Peterborough and will be followed by a celebration of her life at 11:00 am followed by a reception in Trinity Hall.
