Gary Lawrence Galley passed away on August 6, 2024 at Campbellford Memorial Hospital at age 66. He was born on May 22, 1958 to Shirley and Arthur Galley in Cornwall, Ontario. He grew up in Peterborough and graduated from PCVS. Husband to the late Karen Keitel. Brother to Linda Fuller (Ron) and uncle to Allison (Dan) and Rebecca (Chris). Father to Mike (Laura) and Andrew (Kristen) and step-father to Andrew Scollard (Amanda), Katie Greatrix (Richard), and Tyler Scollard (Kendra). Grandfather to Sonny, Maisie, Mason, Emmett, Arya, Alex, Tripp and Abby.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Campbellford Memorial Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Thursday August 15 from 2:30-4:30 at the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough, a place that reflects his love of canoeing and the outdoors.
