McGrath, Gerald (Gerry) Francis – After a brief illness at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, November 21, 2016 in his 89th year. Much loved husband of Shirley Kay-McGrath. Dear father of Daniel (Faye), Linda Whitney (Richard) and Janice McGrath (Bill Smith). Grandfather of Jake Whitney (Stephanie) and Allison Whitney. Great-grandfather of Elly Whitney. Brother of Marjorie Vanstone, Gord McGrath and the late Harold McGrath. He will be remembered by the children and grandchildren of the late Barb Ferguson. Gerry will be missed by his many friends at Liftlock Golf Club, Square Dancing, Euchre & Bridge Clubs, Northminster Church, Activity Haven, the General Electric and those in Bradenton, Florida. Visitation will be held at Northminster United Church, 300 Sunset Boulevard on Thursday, November 24, 2016 from 10:00 am – 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., cremation to follow.
