Peacefully at Princess Gardens, on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Alice “Lucille” Hodder (née Nichols). Loving father of John (Phyllis), Mark (Joanne Hill) and Kathryn (Paul Hadley). Proud grandfather of Kelly, Rebecca (Derek McCubbin) and Alexander (Rhianna Rogers). Dear brother of Mary Hodder-Elderkin, the late Norman and the late Constance Pannell. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Born in Pembroke to the late Harold and Dorothy, Jack was raised in the Ottawa Valley before becoming a WWII Veteran serving in the RCAF, then working into retirement as an Ontario Hydro Inspector in London. Later in life, Jack enjoyed his Cottage in Haliburton and residing in Peterborough. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Ingoldsby Pioneer Cemetery.
