Herbert Bert Bradley

Peacefully at Riverview manor at the age of 76 years. Retired Fleming College teacher, graduate of Trent and Ryerson Universities. Lovingly missed by his wife of 53 years Pat, his children Janet, John (Sherry), and Jennifer (husband Paul Mason), grandchildren Daniel Akenna, Joseph and Adam Potts. Survived by his brother Robert (wife Barbara). Sadly missed by family and friends in Cape Breton. Bert was born and raised in Toronto, but was proud to call Peterborough his home for the last 42 years. In his retirement, he spent spring and fall in Cape Breton and the summers at the cottage on Anstruther Lake, where he shared his love of the outdoors and passed it along to his children and grandchildren. As Bert was a great animal lover, donations in his memory can be made to Riverview Park and Zoo or to Lakefield Animal Welfare Society. The family wishes to extend their deep appreciation to all the staff of Riverview Manor for their love and care. The family will receive friends at Comstock Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (356 Rubidge St.) on Saturday from 7-9 pm and on Sunday from 1-2:30.
