Peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming, surrounded by her family, on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the age of 96. Ina (Nee: Robinson), dearly loved wife of the late Reverend Canon Walter Dyer and deeply missed by son Alan (Susan) Dyer, and daughter Pat (Stan) Foskett. Dear Grandma of Phaedra (TJ) Dyer-Morrison, Maura Dyer (Shawn Beatty), Kendra Dyer, and the late Patrick (surviving spouse Rachel) Benson. Dear sister of Opal (late Walter) Murphy, H. June (late William) Kerr, the late Howard (surviving spouse Beulah), Donald (surviving spouse Isobel), and Ken. Beloved great-Grandma of George and Rory Benson, Xander Dyer, Gabi and Madie Beatty, and Colton Dyer-Morrison. Step-great-Grandma of Melissa, Madison, and Brandon. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, their families, and her many friends. Family and faith were paramount to Ina and she worked tirelessly alongside her husband as he ministered over many years. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 99 Brock Street, Peterborough, on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. Inurnment St. John’s Cemetery – Ida at a later date. If desired, donations to St. John’s Church or St. Joseph’s at Fleming would be appreciated. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s at Fleming for the care and compassion shown to Ina.
