Jake you are more than my friend you are my brother. Each day that passes without you is harder than the last. You taught me more than any book ever could. I need you to know I never gave up on you and I will always love you.

Oh, Jake. Although we only met in person a dozen or so times we kept in contact through text and online and I miss you so much. You were such a kind and inspiring man, so full of talent with a heart of gold. There are few that have made such an impression on me even after so much time had passed between visits. The connection we had was nothing short of astounding. All the fun we had while you were here and when I visited in London. Talking of all our hopes, dreams, aspirations, stresses, triumphs, failures, conspiracy theories. You were an insanely funny and thoughtful guy. Our friendship was truly special to me and I miss our talks. What I wouldn't give to have my phone go off after I've had a bad day and see it was you asking if I was alright. And having a new track to listen to and review while catching up. It's so hard to find genuine, real people that actually care about others and I'm so grateful that you were one of those people in my life. My most sincere and heartfelt condolences to your family and friends that you spoke so fondly of. I miss you and I'm so sorry I never made it for that visit we kept planning. Rest easy and thank you for being such an amazing friend. Till we meet again.
