

After a five year fight with the effects of a stroke we sadly announce the passing of James Clayton Booth. Jim passed away peacefully at home with his family at the age of 73 on Wednesday November 3 2021.
Jim is survived by his Wife of 48 years, Lynda (Loucks) and their children Rebecca Booth, Laura Howard (Rob), and Michael Booth. Jim was adored by his Grandchildren Katelyn (Kalvin), Eliza (Dallas), Kaydence, and step grandpa to Renee. Jim is predeceased by grandson Jordan Booth.
Jim was born on April 17, 1947 to his parents Joyce Booth and Roy Booth (predeceased), and will be missed by brother Dale Booth (Pat)
Jim will be missed by all his Nieces and Nephews, especially his favourite Kelli and many family and friends, as well as those who he coached thru minor hockey along the way
Jim was a former life long employee of Coca Cola Peterborough/Cobourg. Jims sarcastic sense of humour, commitment to family and love for his Grandchildren will be missed and treasured.

Friends and Family will be received at Hiawatha United Church, 124 Paudash St Hiawatha First Nation on Monday November 8 2021 from 10:00am-12:00pm, and funeral service to follow at 12;00. Proof of double vaccination and valid photo ID are required for entry. Internment at the Hiawatha Cemetery following the service . Luncheon to follow at the Gathering Place, 431 Hiawatha Line
In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Peterborough, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
