Peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, August 5, 2011 at PRHC at 85 years of age. Devoted wife of the late Raymond “Pappy” Parker (June 22, 2003) for 59 years. Loving mother of Shirley (Jim) Herr, Gloria (Frank) Vollering, Wayne (Lorraine) Parker, Nancy Parker (Al Boskma), Lynn Parker and her “special angel” Colleen Parker. Cherished grandmother of Brad (Lauren), Matthew, Jaimey (James), Danielle (Justin), Jennifer (Tim) and Kate (Chris). Great-grandmother of 11. Sister of Violet, Bill; predeceased by Frank, Dorothy, Lillian, Joseph, Margaret, Ruth and Patricia. She will also be missed by many other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 10 am until time of the funeral service, in the funeral home chapel, at 11 am at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
