It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Mom Joann at Toronto General Hospital on Friday August 8,2025 in her 86th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas William Meredith for 59 years. Loving mother of her two daughters, Karla Pettersone (Paul) and Patricia Meredith. She was a very proud Nanny of Meredith (predeceased) and Bradley Pettersone (Virginia). A loving Great Nana to Isla and Maisie.
Survived by her brothers John (Barb), Pat (Ann) Wannamaker and her sister Jeannie Livings (Donald-predeceased).
Joann was a hairdresser for most of her life and made many friends in her lifetime and enjoyed living in her apartment for the past 4 years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough with visitation held prior to the service from 9:45 am – 10:45 am. In memory or Joann, donations may be made to The Huntington Society of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
