Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Sunday January 23, 2022. John Ronald (Ronnie) McCarthy in his 81st year. Beloved son of the late William McCarthy and Bessie Hayes. Loving brother of sisters Rosemary Hincks (John), Maureen Meredith (Lex), his brother Bob (Diane) and brother-in-law Larry Culver. Ron was predeceased by his sister Suzanne Culver and his sister-in-law Anne McCarthy. Missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Internment at a later date at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Ronnie was an avid bowler, and loved his Wednesday night bowling league at Lakeview Bowl. Donations in memory of Ron to Peterborough Humane Society’s Animal Care Centre or St. Joseph’s at Fleming would be appreciated by the family. Ronnie’s family would like to thank the amazing staff at St. Joseph’s at Fleming for their kindness to Ron over the years.
