BRYDGES, Jordan Bruce – Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health

Centre, on Thursday August 29, 2018 with his loving partner at his side.

Jordan of Peterborough, formerly of Colbourne, in his 38th year. Dear

partner of Michelle Longhurst. Beloved son of Bruce Brydges and the late

Kathleen (McRae). Loving brother of Benjamin Ross Carl Brydges

(Mishelle) and James Ryan Brydges. Proud uncle of Jimi and Macaela.

Jordan will be remembered by his grandmother Ena Brydges (late Charles)

and many other relatives and friends in his community.

A celebrated musician and song writer, Jordan played with many musician

friends in varying genres. A graduate of Fleming College’s Ecosystem

Management Technology program (class president of 2012), Jordan was

proud of his environmental work with the Otonabee Region Conservation

Authority, and his recent work with the Peterborough Public Library. Jordan

achieved his brown belt in Jui Jitsu, and has studied Kung Fu, Tai Chi and

Qigong for over ten years. He strived to live in a manner that promoted

ongoing development and growth with a focus on kindness. A gentle

warrior, he was always the first person to offer a helping hand, sit and talk

about the state of the world, or be a listening ear. Jordan consumed the

written word with a passion and had a thirst for knowledge. Anyone who

was lucky enough to cross Jordan's path knows what an amazingly

talented, genius, creative, and tender being he was. In Jordan's words let's

remember to cultivate love.

Cremation entrusted to Community Alternative Funeral Home. A

celebration of life will be held in the near future, details will be posted on the

Community Alternative website. Condolence notes and donations in
