June (Murray) passed away peacefully at Empress Gardens.
It has been only months since she lost her greatest love, James. Their love lasted 62 years until Dad’s passing in July.
Mom was born at the Maternity Hospital in Johnstone, Scotland. She grew up, married, and had her family in Lochwinnoch, Scotland, where she remained until 1975.
The family immigrated to Canada and settled in Collingwood and only recently left to move closer to son David and his family Karen (Russwurm) and their only grandchild Meghan Ross.
As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Donations can be made to Hospice Peterborough.
A sincere thanks to Dr. Becca Webster; she is one of a kind, and the outstanding care of the staff of Empress Gardens.
