It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Anne (Birnie) Campbell, beloved wife of John and mother to Alexandra, Genevieve & Suzanne. As a Valentine's Day baby, February 14th has always been a special day for Kathryn. Kathryn was born at home on a cold February day in 1952 to Pat and Hope Birnie of New Liskeard, Ontario. She died at home, in Ennismore, surrounded by family and many dozens of flowers last week. The family are grateful that they were able to toast her 70th birthday together and help her through the final hours of her life by sharing stories, music, memories, laughter, and tears. She will be dearly missed by John, her daughters, grandchildren and extended family.
The family will host a Celebration of Life in the summer at the Lakehouse, a place with special significance for the family and the site of many happy gatherings over the years.
