Kenneth Douglas Thomson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father on March 21, 2022, in his 91st year, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a brief illness. Loving husband of Ann (nee Watson) for 67 years. Loving father of Steve (Annette), David (Karen) and Scott (Barbara). Proud grandfather of Erica, Graeme, Colin, Julie (Matt), Brian (Caitlin), Sara (Dave), Tess, Grace (Victor), James (Michelle) and Katrina. Great grandfather to Weston, Natalie, Imogen, Emily, Evelyn, and Oliver.

Ken was predeceased by his parents George and Kathleen(Smith) of Oxford County and brothers Reginald, Melvin and Peter.

Ken graduated from University of Guelph and pursued a very successful career working for Western Ontario Cattle Breeders, in Woodstock, and eventually transitioned to full-time farming. He was very involved with the Ontario Pork Congress, 4H and Hebron United Church.

Ken was a proud Canadian and was passionate about traveling coast to coast to coast multiple times.
