After years of ailments, Linda passed away unexpectedly in her home on the evening of Christmas, December 25, 2023. Beloved wife of David for 45 years. Linda was deeply loved and will be missed by her husband. Loving mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by Jennifer and her son Ira, Alicia (Mike), and Shawn (Alison). She will be deeply missed by her siblings Fred, Donna, Pat, and their families. Linda was an avid baker, who loved baking for everyone including her pharmacist. Her chocolate macaroons will be missed by all! Her favourite pastimes were doing puzzles, reading action and mystery novels, watching the Habs and Jays, and watching action movies. She will be remembered for her love of Chuck Norris, polar bears, Big Bang Theory, Ghosts, and John Wick. She worked at Peterborough Housing Corporation for 40 years and will be missed by all of her coworkers, who were her second family. Linda was born in Fort Churchill, Manitoba, which began a lifelong love of polar bears. Please celebrate her by donating to Polar Bears International in lieu of flowers.
