Passed away at P.R.H.C. on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Mae (nee Gibson) for 60 years. Devoted father of Rick (Sheila), Jane Wilson (Tim) of Austin, Texas and Nancy Carter (Scott). Son of the late Charles and Hetty Prophet. Loving grandfather of Danielle and Michael Prophet, Matthew Wilson of Seattle, Washington, Eric Wilson of Austin, Texas, Jennifer and Courtney Carter. Brother of the late Donald (Grace). Brother-in-law of Carol Gibson (late Jack) and Anne and Ron Sargent of Cobourg. Lloyd retired from Canadian General Electric after 44 years service. Visitation will be held on at Friday from 7-9 pm at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, followed by a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Interment will follow at Little Lake Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. James United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Lloyd’s family.
