

Sister Margaret Pelletier: Sister Margaret entered into her eternal rest at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, November 26, 2012 in the 61st year of her religious life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Emery Pelletier and Margaret Langill. Sister Margaret is lovingly remembered by the Sisters in her community, her brothers George (Lanny) of Hull P.Q., Terry and his wife Edwige of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and John and his wife Dot of Gloucester, ON and her nieces and nephews. Sister Margaret received her education in Quebec and Ontario. For many years she was a primary school teacher in Peterborough, Ottawa and Port Hope and later a Vice Principal. After retiring from teaching, Sister Margaret went on to study Chaplaincy. This ministry took her to Regina Saskatchewan and Thunder Bay Ontario. Sister Margaret gave many hours to volunteer work both in Cobourg and Peterborough. An Ottawa Roughriders fan for years, Sister Margaret cheered loudly for the Toronto Argonauts during their recent win. At Sister Margaret’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be a Mount St. Joseph on Sunday, December 2nd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm.. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Mount St. Joseph on Monday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Peterborough, Ontario.
