Peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home on May 21, 2012. Madonna LaFreniere was a past member of the CWL of St. Joseph’s Church, Douro and St. Alphonsus’ Church, Peterborough. Beloved wife of the late Francis Stanley LaFreniere (Jan. 20, 2001). Dear mother of Robert of Peterborough, Rodger of Tweed, Christine (Richard Fransky) of Lakefield, Joanne (Ken Hendry) of Peterborough, Dion (Terri-Lynn) of Indian River and the late Ralph (Dec 12, 2009). Grandmother of Jocelyn, Jason, Stephanie, Richard, Cynthia, Jesse, Ryan, Shannon, Landon, Braedon, Shelby, Jacob, Amanda, Michael and Matthew. Great-grandmother of Calvin, Hope, Abigail, Emma, Aden, Bronwen and Sylos,. Daughter of the late Percy and Mary Clark (nee Allen) of Kinmount. Sister of the late Jack Clark, William Clark and Josephine Polito. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (parish prayers at 6:45 p.m.) on Thursday, May 24, 2012. The funeral mass will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH, DOURO on Friday, May 25, 2012 at11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
