Marion Irene Lowes Quibell

Mourning the loss, we announce with heavy hearts that Marion Irene (Lowes) Quibell, age 61, passed away on the morning of December 31, 2024, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

Marion faced many health challenges throughout her life, defying the odds time and time again. Now, she may finally rest—free from pain and at peace—reunited with her parents, Lenna and Nelson Lowes, and her infant daughter, Kaitlyn.

She is survived by her loving partner, Gary Yaxley; her children, Sarah Quibell (Cameron Wharram) and Adam Quibell (Lisa Shellington); the father of her children, Kevin; her cherished granddaughters, Emilie, Reya, and Evie; her sisters, Linda Trimble (widow of the late Bob Trimble) and Nancy Rothery (John Rothery); generations of nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Rusty.

A graveside memorial will be held on Monday, April 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Additional details will be shared with the family.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care. In Marion's memory, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association are welcomed. Tributes and condolences may be shared in her Memory Book on the Community Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services website.

She will be deeply missed by all who love her.
