Peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on Saturday Dec. 25, 2021 Mary the devoted wife of 60 years to the late Terry Hill (D. 2020). Mom to Wendy Hill and her husband Jim Coyle, Chris Hill and his wife Sue Hill. Mary also leaves behind two grandsons whom she loved dearly Matthew Hill (Stacy) and Connor Hill (Emma-Lee).
Mary was a lifelong resident of Peterborough, although she did graduate from Ottawa Civic Hospital in 1956 and kept in close contact with her class mates over the last 65 years, something she was very proud of. Mary loved to entertain and spent many hours preparing some wonderful meals for family and friends and we have certainly missed them the last few years.
We would like to express our gratitude to the staff on Rose Terrace at Extendicare Peterborough and Dr. Spink for their care and support of Mom. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Pauline at Extendicare for Mom’s weekly “beauty sessions”. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow.
