Mildred Agnes Yates

YATES: Mildred Agnes (nee Northey): Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, April 20, 2012 in her 96th year. Mildred, beloved wife of the late Lance Corporal Robert Sutherland (d.1944) and the late Raymond Yates (d.1998). Loving mother of Millie McFadyen (Ray), Bob Sutherland (Cathy), Sharon O’Brien, Don Yates, Diana Olver (Phil), Larry Yates (Cheryl), Brenda Moore (Joe), Gail Moore (Peter Siegel), Carole Constable (Eric), Sandra Casey (Frank), Christine Primeau (Dave). Predeceased by her daughter Marlene George , her son Gary Yates, her sons-in-law Gerry O’Brien, Michael Jones, and Jerry George and her parents Wilson and Evelyn Northey. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her many many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great as well as many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Jean Darling, Carl and Glen Northey, and predeceased by brothers Barry and Earl Northey. Friends are invited to call at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME ‘MEMORIAL CHAPEL’on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In memory of Mildred, donations to the Salvation Army or an Animal Welfare Agency would be appreciated by the family.
