Nola Gwendolyn Bolton

Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Charles Earl Bolton. Loving mother of Joyce (Brian) Mittler, Hugh (Kim) Bolton, Mark (Carol) Bolton and Gary (Dale) Bolton. Proud grandmother of Joseph (Haifa) and Heather, Jerry (Stephanie), Eileen, Alistair and Ian, Sarah, Amy (Kevin) and Anna (Sam), Jessica, Emily and Meghan. Cherished great-grandmother of Nola, Audrey, Isaiah and Hudson. Predeceased by her parents Freeman and Louise Adelia Price, sisters Edna, Gladys, Doris, Emily, Lorene and brothers Everett, Floyd and Bill. Survived by her sister Helen. Nola will also be missed by many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Nola was famous for her home-baked apple pies and butter tarts. She enjoyed walking in the woods, being in nature and picking wildflowers. She was also known for her love of small animals and the occasional stray cat. Nola loved her family deeply and had great joy in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. Visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough on Wednesday, July 30th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel. Interment at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Warsaw. In Nola’s memory, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
