Peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Monday October 24, 2022. Wife of the late John Simpson and beloved partner of the late Don Smith. Loving Mother of Michelle Roote and Nana of Cassidy and Dalton. Sister of Larry Longo (Barb), Marie Condon (the late Joseph), Margaret Hope (Warren). Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Rose Longo, her sister Catherine Reader and her late husband Alex, her brothers Jack Longo (Marion) and Tony Longo (Colette). A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at 11:00 am from St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1066 Western Avenue, Peterborough. A reception to follow at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street. In memory of Pat donations to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated by the family.
