Phillip Richard Carter

CARTER, Phillip Richard – July 26, 1935 to August 15, 2018. Retired Architectural Draftsman and Designer/Project Manager in North Bay and Peterborough, Ontario. Phillip was 83 years old when he left us. He was much loved by his family, especially by his wife Susan (née Hillier), and his children Anne-Marie (David) McAuslan, Derek (Corrine), and Vandy (Guy) Cappello. His many grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss their "Grampa Phil", and he will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Pam Loche and Wendy Tait. Phil will also be missed and remembered by his many extended relatives, friends and colleagues who he has enjoyed and entertained over the years. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Lakefield Extendicare for their kindness, support and care during his last months. Special thanks and appreciation to the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) Assisted Living and Respite program which helped keep Phillip at home with his wife for three years prior to his being admitted to long term care for complications of Parkinson's. Private arrangements are being made to commemorate his life. Donations in Memory of Phil can be made to Lakefield Extendicare or the VON.
