BROOKS, Richard “Dick” Wallace
With profound sadness we announce Richard’s passing on Friday July 19th, 2019 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, at the age of 70. Richard was a beloved mentor to Josh White (Shauna Spiers). Dearest friend to Sandie Wright and Richard Edwards. Beloved brother of Stephen Brooks of Gatineau, Quebec; Paulette (Gary) Stewart, Kathryn Krome, Alan (Jirina) Brooks of Brandon, Manitoba; and John Brooks of Campbellford, Ontario. Predeceased by his loving parents John and Agnes (nee Chesher) Brooks. Much loved Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Richard was a former employee of Canada Post, an avid hunter, skilled outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing. A Funeral Service will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME (840 Armour Road, Peterborough) on Friday July 26th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home; and reception to follow. Burial will take place after the reception at Little Lake Cemetery.
