Robert Daniel Brady

June 23, 1966 – December 24, 2024

It is with deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Robert “Bob” Daniel Brady on December 24, 2024. Proud son of Sharon Macdonald and the late Dan Brady. Beloved wife of Shari (nee Watson). Loving father of Mickayla (Greg) Barnet and cherished papa of Liam and Alfie. He is also survived by son Nolan. He will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as the trucking community.

Bob spent over 30 years in the trucking industry, where he was known for his hard work and reliability. His dedication and strong sense of responsibility earned him the respect of everyone he worked with.

Outside of work, Bob loved the simple things in life and cherished time with his family and friends. He loved getting together with friends and playing a few rounds of cornhole. He was a well known athlete back in the day excelling in hockey and lacrosse, and slow pitch in his later years.

He had a big heart, a strong work ethic, and a way of making others feel happy and valued. His memory will always be a source of comfort for the many people whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Bob's honour on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Millbrook Legion. All who knew Bob are welcome to come and share memories, celebrate his life, and offer their support to his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations in Bob’s memory be made to the Peterborough Humane Society or Jumpstart for Kids, both organizations that held special meaning to him.

Bob’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
