Robert Daniel "Bob" Cadigan

Veteran of World War II. Peacefully into the arms of the Lord early Thursday, February 16, 2017 in his 91st year, at his family homestead in Ennismore. He will be remembered for his quiet persevering strength and commitment to family. Bob was sixth generation Irish Canadian, the founder of Cadigan's Camp and Cottages Resort, proud beef farm, and avid hunter with the "Hardly Able Hunt Club". Beloved husband of 56 years to Madeline T. Young. Lovingly remembered by his children and their families: Lisa and Gary James, their children Joseph (Sam) and Ellen; Robert Cadigan, Jonathon and Jenna; Joe and Molly Cadigan, Nicholas, Luke and Lilly; Teresita and Ron Mohammed, Amanda (Ebby), Tyler, Jordan, Savannah and Ryan; John and Clorinda Cadigan and their children John Jr, David, and Lauryn. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Tami Weitzel; his siblings Joe Cadigan; Bill Cadigan (surviving wife Laura); Leona Kaye (Ross); Pat Cadigan (Viola); and Clarence Cadigan (Mara). Son of the late Joe Cadigan and Siri "Sarah" Gustaffson (Sweden). Brother-In-Law of the late Joe Young (surviving wife Zita); the late Bill Young (late wife Ann); late Bob Young (surviving wife Eleanor); Jean Winn nee Young (Steve Winn and Late Owen Swift); Fergus and Verda Young; Irene and Roy Grills; John and Helen Young. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Sunday, February 19th from 7:00 pm -9:00 pm, and on Monday, February 20th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Father Dominic Mbah will conduct prayers at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 20. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 513 Ennis Road, Ennismore on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment, St. Martin's Cemetery, Ennismore.
