

Passed away on Friday November 28, 2025 at the age of 85.
Roger was born in Kingston Ontario, May 11, 1940, to Reid and Winifred Mallory. He moved to Peterborough at the age of 5, attended Central, Prince of Wales, PCVS and Ryerson Polytechnical College. He was a sheet metal worker and a member of the sheet metal workers union.
Roger was a very dedicated family man. He will be missed immensely by his sister Dyan Mallory.
Roger married the love of his life Patricia Margaret (née Boucher) in 1965. They had 2 children, Carrie Ann (deceased 2019) and Christopher.
A much-loved husband will be greatly missed by Pat.
Roger will be deeply missed by his son Chris and daughter-in-law Erica – Emma Mallory (granddaughter), Christopher Smith (step-grandson), Nathan Vaughan (step-grandson) and his son-in-law Chris Rogers.
Roger was involved in St. Anne’s Hockey for many years as treasurer and known to many local hockey families as the “skate sharpener”.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and garden. He enjoyed woodworking for many years and playing darts in his later years.
Special Thanks to the staff at Peterborough Retirement Residence, the wonderful PSW’s from Care Partners that supported Roger and to the Palliative Care Physicians and nurses on D2 at PRHC.
A visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough on Tuesday, December 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough.
