Ronald Allen Ansley

January 11 1959 – April 11 2024

Passed away peacefully at PRHC-Palliative Care after a courageous battle with cancer in his 66th year.

Ronald was the cherished husband and partner to Mary Anne Ansley.

Loving son of the late Charles and Betty Ansley.

Son-in-law of the late Frederick and Arlene Coupland.

Cherished father to Lucas Ansley and step-son Shane Coupland.

Devoted grandfather to Landen and Carter James.

Loving brother to Charles “Rick” (Sandy Smith) and twin brother John Ansley and Dawn (Michael Jones).

Brother-in-law to Danny Coupland (Lisa), Christopher Coupland, Brenda McGrath Babcock, Laurie Coupland, Diane, the late Robert Babcock, the late Adam McGrath, and the late Laurie Dawe.

Captivating uncle to nieces Jamie Ansley (Christopher Boerman), Nikki Ansley, Sira Ansley (Todd Morgan), and the late Arlene McGrath and nephews Michael Ansley, David Smith (Becky), Ben Smith (Barb Stewart), Ben McGrath (Shelby), Reggie McGrath (Kelly), Frank McGrath (Nicole), Curtis Coupland (Sarah Tetrie), McKenzie Coupland (Jessica Hammond), Fred Coupland (Jackie), Clayton Coupland (Madi), Derek, and Jason.

Ronald will also be remembered by his great and great-great nieces and nephews, friends, and his beloved cat Binx.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Friday June 21, 2024 at Little Lake Cemetery, 915 Haggart Street, Peterborough (at front gates, turn right) with Rev. Mike Grady conducting the service.

A reception will be hosted by Colleen and Shane Coupland is to follow at the Kawartha Village Co-Op Community Centre Room, 152 Lansdowne Street East, Peterborough.
