Sandra peacefully slipped away in the early morning hours of February 11th at Centennial Place, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Scott Fallis. Loving mother of Julie Nicholls (Larry Simard) and Cindy Vanfrankfoort (Terry). Fond step-mother of Amy Maycock (Jon). Proud grandma of Charlotte Abrams (John) and Shane Abrams; and step-grandma of Sydney. Dear sister of Debbie Farthing (Jim Faulkner), Vicky Farthing, Rose Farthing (David Quist) and Robb Farthing (Diana). Predeceased by her parents Gladys (née Gardner) and Gordon Farthing. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Sandra was a talented artist, expressing herself with painting, photography, and jewellery to name a few. She had a passion for gardening. She loved her cottage on Anstruther Lake and spent many summers enjoying the sunsets there.
Sandra lived in Lakefield for many years. Many will remember her from the Lakefield Leader, The Village Fabric Shoppe, Portage Place Mall Management and most recently, Horlings Garden Centre where she created incredible floral arrangements.
Sandra’s family are grateful for the care and kindness she received at Centennial Place in Millbrook.
A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will be held on February 20, 2025 from 1-4 pm, with Tributes at 3 pm at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street. In honour of Sandra, donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.comstockkaye.com
