I have thought of you throughout the years Sherry-Lynn, and today I thought of you again, thinking that perhaps we could reconnect as it has been so long. I am so saddened that when I looked for your name today, that I have learned of your passing. I will always remember you and the fun times we’ve had together. We met at the Early Years centre as our daughters were one month apart. We lost contact after your moving and with deep regrets, I will never have the opportunity again to re-connect and to reminisce. I will forever hold those memories in my heart. I still have the photos of our little baby girls and some of our times together.

I am very sorry to hear Sherry passed away, I have some very nice memories of sherry, we went to prom together as a group of 4 , we also went to a Steve Earl concert together many moons ago at the memorial center! We worked at Lakefield FoodTown together . Sherry will always be in my memories.  My condolences to her family.

Although I cannot be with you today, I am thinking of you and sending you my love. I have many lovely memories of your Mom and the times we spent together. But most of all I will always remember her joyful laugh,  beautiful smile  and her friendly manner.  She loved you so much and her love will always be with you.

I'm very sorry for the loss of Sherry-Lynn to all her loved ones. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. We were very close friends for many years, but I'm sorry to say we lost touch a long time ago.  I was a bridesmaid for her at her wedding to Lance.  Her life was cut way too short, but the girl I knew lived life to the fullest!  She took me on a vacation to Cancun Mexico with her about 20 years ago and we sure lived it up that week!  The world will be a darker place without Sherry's bright light. May she rest peacefully and live on in those who loved her!

My dearest friend Sherry-Lynn. It hasn't fully registered yet.  I still want to reach for the phone and call you , sharing our days and stories over coffee. You were always there with words of encouragement and laughter, even while in the battle of your life. That was you...gracious , kind, and pure love.  Always thinking of others.  In the midst of your darkest days you would ask what you could do or buy to brighten the days of your nurses and caregivers. You were always classy my friend, and I was in awe of you.

I 'm so thankful God gave you a short reprieve that allowed us to have a wonderful T.O. getaway.  You outshone and outshopped all of us :).   It was inspiring to watch you be a rockstar mother to Paige.  Instilling in her, your kindness, loyalty, and ethics.  Always the protective Momma Bear. You made Lance proud.  You are together now.  Rest peacefullly knowing Paige is loved by so many. Your beautiful girl is going to go on to rule the world. You taught her well.

I'm so thankful for our last visit. You were weak , but mustered up the energy for wonderful conversation (about food of course), and we shared some tender moments and a few laughs, It was your last good day.     Four days later, when I got the news your suffering was over, I felt called that evening to go down to the beach.  It was there that I witnessed the most magnificent sunset I've ever seen. Swirls of blue and pink with  streaks of bright orange and red. The water glistened like silk ribbon.  You were home, with Lance  there to greet you.  What a celebration.   I cried as I watched the sun go down, and I said Good Bye to you there.  But you will forever live in our hearts my friend.  We love you.

The universe brought Paige into my daughter’s life at the exact right moment. And very soon after I got to meat her amazing mother. We bonded instantly over our fierce love for our daughters.
 I will forever be grateful to you, Sherry Lynn, for raising such a kind, accepting , and loving young woman. She helped my daughter see her way through a difficult time and continues to be a true friend to her. 
I will miss our “mama bear” chats, your humour, and you passion.

To my friend that called me doll, I cannot believe you are gone. I miss our chats, texts, your wit, sense of humour, and most importantly your zest for life. You made life fun, that smile of yours and your sense for fashion and great food. The way you beamed when speaking about Paige.  Some things in life aren’t fair. You fought with everything you could and put all of your trust in faith.  I hope you and Lance are cooking up a storm, decorating for Halloween, and looking over your beautiful family and friends. I want you to know how incredibly proud your mom was of you. We met through a widow group, and there wasn't a time she didn't speak about you when we all got together. She highlighted your musical talent and creativity, your intelligence, and your strength. She exuded joy and brought a beautiful energy that I'm sure she spread everywhere she went. I had to take some time, Sherry to find the words to express just
how lost I feel about your passing. This past year spent with you and your beautiful daughter, Paige, has given me the most wonderful memories that I shall cherish forever.  I loved our talks, which centered around Paige (who else?).  I saw how hard you fought this battle and how much you so wanted  to not leave your daughter.  Remember, Sherry, how I would tell you that you and Lance did such a great job as parents and that you had no need to worry about Paige.  You were the best compass that any daughter could hope to have.
You kept her grounded and you gave her direction.  You gave her a strong foundation with which to lean on as she continues this journey without you.  I am sure that you know this.  You have given Paige all the tools that she will need as she continues on with her life.  You taught her to be strong, yet gentle.  She is compassionate, smart, funny, cautious, yet, inquisitive and has a deep love for our saviour, God.  You should be so very proud of your accomplishments as Paige’s mom and as a friend to everyone who knew you.  I write these words as though you are still here, because, in my heart – YOU STILL ARE WITH US.  The world will never be quite the same without you in it, honey.  You have left us all with your greatest legacy - your daughter, Paige.  THANK YOU!  She is surrounded by family and friends who love her and will be there to support her, always.  
The world has lost another treasure and heaven has gained another angel.  It gives me great comfort In knowing that Paige now has you and Lance to keep watch over her.  Sherry, do say “hello” to Lance for me.  Love you now and forever, aunt Rose and uncle Joe



I am so sorry to hear of Sherry’s passing. We worked together at Levi’s 1850 and had many good times out as a group. I have many good time memories. She will be fondly remembered as a supportive, kind and gentle person.  Rest easy Sherry. Condolences to her family and friends. Take comfort in your love and memories.

Haven't seen Sherry-Lynn in a few years now, as I use to play baseball on Sundays with her and Lance. She loved him lots you could tell and she wasn't keen on baseball however played to help us out with a smile on her face no matter what. Heaven just got a little better today. Say hello to Lance for us. Rest in peace
