My mother and I would like to send our deepest condolences.  We just found our about the death of Uncle Frank and we are shocked.  It has been way too long since we have seen or spoke to each other but you are always in our thoughts.

Steve and I worked together for close to thirty years.  We locked horns, collaborated, disagreed, agreed, plotted, planned and generally stirred the pot for the betterment of the student and the advancement of the college for virtually all of that time.  I never dealt with anyone else at Fleming that had Steve's passion, drive and integrity. He was not only one of the good ones - he was the best of them.  He never did build his round house, though.

Although we shared many years together at  Fleming I only really got to know Steve in our retirement years during our monthly lunches when his perspicacity and wit combined to make him a delightful companion  He will be sadly missed.BobB

I am very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. It was my honour and pleasure to have such a wonderful colleague, mentor and friend. An intelligent, insightful and dedicated professor. Visiting Steve's office for his advice and counsel,dispensed from behind a mountain of books and student papers covering his desk, was most often a calming and clarifying experience. A true gentle man.

Steve was such a dedicated person, the most considerate professor in the college that was always ahead of the game.  Such a kind, gentle man..but so full of knowledge, life and love for his family...we always enjoyed our conversations with him.

Sandy, Tony and I are so sad to hear of Steve's death.  To Tony he was a good, kind friend and a much respected colleague.  And in conversations with him I found him to be a very supportive friend of Tony.  It's been some years now since you, Steve and others sat round our dining table on Conger Street and when we visited Peterborough some years ago he showed us round your then-new venture, the B & B.  Our daughter Libby also remembers Steve.  It is so hard to lose friends and our thoughts are with you and your family.

Steve was a wonderful teacher and a great colleague. I thoroughly enjoyed the years that we shared at Fleming and know that our learners greatly benefited from the joint writing projects that we assigned. I was very saddened to learn of his passing, and know that he will be missed by many.

Dear Sandy,
I was deeply saddened to read of Steve's untimely passing. You will miss him dearly and my expression of heartfelt sympathy goes out to you as someone who has experienced a similar loss. 

Two years ago, a few of the old QSS Saints met to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of QSS winning the COSSA football championship and the Red Feather game. Steve's winning touch down, in the 7-6 win at Red Feather, was fondly remembered.... and embellished.

The Fleming community is a little less today. Steve was a good teacher and a good person.

It was sad and shocking to receive news of Steve's passing.  My fond memories of our professional relationship at Fleming College, like many others who have expressed their thoughts, is one of a true professional, a supportive friend, and a person with a great sense of humour.  I will treasure these memories of a fine gentlement.  My sincerely condolences to Sandie and the family.

Steve was such a pleasure to know and we always enjoyed his upbeat personality and infectious smile and laugh.

This news came as such a shock - Steve and I were just hanging Christmas lights, at the same time, a few weeks ago...

Was so saddened to learn of Steve's passing.  So many great memories come to mind of our families growing up together on Palmer Rd in Belleville.
