Susan Victoria Parker Casselman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Victoria Casselman (née Parker) who passed away with her family by her side, in the City of Peterborough, ON on the 06th of July 2025 at the age of 78 years.

Susan was born in Montreal, Quebec, on the 2nd of November 1946 to Gilbert Scott Parker and Florence Edith Parker (née Irwin). Susan soon became a cherished older sister to Janice Bindon (predeceased by Reginald Bindon). She is survived by her beloved husband, Brian Casselman, previously of Ingleside, ON. and forever loved by her two daughters, Liane Kastely (Michael) and Lisa Lamarche (Nicholas), predeceased by their father Richard Lamarche of Cornwall, ON. Susan will be remembered with many loving memories by her three grandchildren, Madeline Kastely, Kristoffer Kastely and Nicole Beaudoin who often referred to her as “Buzz or Blah” more often than Grandma. Susan will be sadly missed by Parker, her loving furbaby and frequent snuggle partner. She will also be dearly missed by friends and family, including her extended family, the Casselman and the Lamarche families.

Susan enjoyed years of happiness and cherished memories spending summers at her family's cottage in Maple Grove, Quebec. She was always happy spending time in the water, whether it was a pool, the ocean, or a weedy lake. Susan also spent many years enjoying her love of gardening, reading and travelling. She loved her family and friends very much, and she never hesitated to say, I love you.

Please join us for interment services officiated by Lois and Kevin Casselman on Friday the 18th of July at 12 pm at the St. Lawrence Valley (Union) Cemetery, located at 15570 County Rd 2, Ingleside, Ontario. Friends and family are invited to join us in a celebration of life gathering and luncheon, to be hosted at 32 Fairholme Drive in Morrisburg, Ontario.

Cremation to take place prior to the service at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, Armour Rd in Peterborough, ON.
