The Honourable Mr. Justice Rapson passed away peacefully at Princess Gardens, Peterborough, Ontario on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Frances Lenore Rapson (nee Sneath) for close to 67 years. Dear father of Lynda Pawluch (Nick), John (Anne), Bob (Shirlene), Brian (Carolyn), Peter (Marianne) and Fred (Yvonne). Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Brother of Bill Rapson (Gerry) and the late Ken Rapson. Brother-in-law of Shirley Rapson. Bud served in the Canadian Army during World War II, and later oversaw his own Toronto law firm before becoming a judge. Away from the ‘bench’ he enjoyed music, gardening and golfing. Service will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street Peterborough on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service from12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. If so desired, in memory of Bud, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.
