He came to know Christ as his Savior at an early age; he loved THE LORD. He also loved his wife Mary Lee Wells Watson, out of their union he became a dedicated and loving father to his six children.
He loved all of his family. He believed in the power of prayer. He was compassionate, a pillar of strength, and a hard worker. He enjoyed having fun, wore a big infectious smile, and was a sharp snazzy dresser!
His favorite phrase to keep everyone encouraged was: “Keep Hope Alive!”
He also worked at the City of Austin for over 28 years. In addition, he owned and operated Tastee Q BBQ for several years.
A.D. was preceded in death by his lovely wife, his parents, and several siblings. He leaves to mourn his children Brenda, Eddie, Peggy, Rose Mary, Michael, & Melanie. He also leaves to mourn his siblings, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends who cherished him.
