Aaron was known for his hilariously dry and sarcastic humor, intellect, courage, gentleness and so many more amazing characteristics. He took great pride in his work and truly loved what he did, forming meaningful connections with his colleagues and finding purpose in his career in the gaming community.
Aaron lived his life guided by curiosity, creativity, and connection. He found joy in the things he loved most – 3D printing, PC gaming, and D&D days spent laughing and adventuring with friends – always dreaming up his next life quest. A lifelong learner, Aaron used knowledge as a bridge, meeting people where they were, listening with genuine curiosity, and fostering understanding through thoughtful conversation. In doing so, he meaningfully served others with kindness, generosity, and presence, offering support, wisdom, and care in ways both quiet and profound. One of his greatest honors was officiating the marriage of two of his best friends, a reflection of the trust, love, and respect he inspired in those closest to him.
Above all, Aaron was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. His presence brought laughter, comfort, insight and compassion to those around him, and his impact will continue to be felt long after his passing.
He is survived by his grandfather, Jerry Eschberger (Papa), grandmother, Lana Branum, mother, Jana Branum, father and stepmother, Rockley Eschberger (Anita), sister, Hayley Eschberger, sister and brother-in-law, Hillary Servantez (Vincent), brother, Blake Eschberger, nephew, Caleb Otalora, and nieces Briley Moreno and Stella Servantez. Additionally, he had a brotherly relationship with his cousin, Evan Patterson. He is also survived by a host of beloved cousins, aunts and uncles.
Aaron is preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Branum and grandmother, Trilba Eschberger (Mema).
The family wishes to thank Aaron’s oncologist, Dr. Anne, her team and the caring staff of Baylor Scott & White.
