After a valiant battle against an aggressive cancer, Aaron Lee Johnson joined the Lord on November 7, 2021, while receiving care at Baylor, Scott, and White hospital at the age of 69 years old. He leaves behind his wife, Adrianne “Candy” Johnson, their two daughters, Ashley Gonzalez and Megan Washburn and brother Carl Johnson and his wife Twinkle Johnson along with several extended family members.
Aaron was born on April 26, 1952, in Edinburg, Texas to Jack Ausby Johnson and Lily Vernette Brown, both who predeceased him. A lover of dogs, he always spoke of his childhood family dog, Niece. He never forgot her. His love for dogs continued throughout his life as he leaves behind his beloved dog Riley. His love of dogs, classic rock, and cooking were all parts of him. However, his love for his family was truly what made him Aaron Johnson.
His entire family has felt the rumble of this loss but take solace in knowing he has been made whole in the Kingdom of Heaven.
