Alfred Williams Boulter

March 20, 1936 – March 20, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfred Williams (Bill) Boulter, who passed away peacefully on his 89th birthday, March 20, 2025, in his home. Bill was born on March 20, 1936, to Albert C. Boulter and Dessie Roston. He lived a life of dedication and service, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bill was married for 63 wonderful years to his loving wife, Anita L. Graham, whom he married on March 10th, 1962. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and joy.

Bill served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps and had a distinguished career in law enforcement. He dedicated over 35 years of his life to protecting and serving his community. He retired in 2000 after 30 years with the Austin Police Department.

A member of the First Baptist Church of Buda, Bill was also deeply involved in Freemasonry. He received his 50-year pin from the Grand Lodge of Texas in February 2025 and was a member of Hill City Lodge #456, Lockhart Lodge #690, Lytton Springs Lodge #487, and Hardeman Lodge #179. He was a Life Member of Ben Hur Shrine Temple and a member of the Provost Guard.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Anita L. Graham. He was preceded in death by his children, Sandra Kay Boulter and John Micheal Connette, his parents Albert C. Boulter and Dessie Boulter, and his brothers Al Boulter, Ray Boulter and Roy Boulter.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Shriners Children’s Texas, Office of Philanthropy, suite 523, 815 Market St., Galveston, TX 77550 or the First Baptist Church of Buda, 104 S. San Marcos St., Buda, TX 78610 in Bill's memory.

A visitation for Alfred will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 104 S San Marcos St, Buda, Texas 78610. A committal service with military honors will occur Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Cook Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, 13700 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.

Serving as pallbearers are Larry Patton , George McGrew , Jerry Ishenheardt, Gene Shamburger, Terry LaGrone and Stan Kozlik.
