

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Late Anil Kumar Saha, who left us on July 13th, 2025 at the age of 84. Born in Tangail, Bangladesh to his beloved parents Late Meghlal Kumar Saha and Late Hiron Bala Saha, he was the beacon of love, strength, and benevolence to all who knew him. Late Anil Kumar Saha shared four beautiful children, Kakali Saha, Mitali Saha, Jony Saha, and Amit Saha, with his loving wife Kalpana Saha.
Late Anil Kumar Saha earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Dhaka University. After the passing of his father, Late Meghlal Kumar Saha who was one of the founders and head teacher of B.S. Bisweswari High School, he stepped into his father’s role and began his teaching career at B.S. Bisweswari High School in 1965. He later joined Balla Coronation High School & College and created the accounting department, where he served as a teacher until 1973. In 1974, Late Anil Kumar Saha began teaching Accounting and Sanskrit at Kishoreganj Government Boys’ High School, where he dedicated 24 years to shaping young minds and leaving an irreplaceable legacy. Throughout his career, he was deeply respected and admired by his students, who remember him as an empowering mentor and a passionate educator.
Following his retirement in 1998, he immigrated to the United States of America in 1999 with his wife, Kalpana Saha, and two sons Jony and Amit Saha.
He was well known amongst his community as someone with an infectiously joyful smile and comforting presence. He genuinely enjoyed talking to people, always eager to listen, share stories, and build meaningful connections.
He had a deep passion for gardening, nurturing both flowers and vegetables in his garden. He also loved riding his bicycle for hours, often covering countless miles.
Late Anil Kumar Saha found joy and happiness in all aspects of life, especially his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone in his life as a truly beautiful soul whose presence made the world a more kind and better place.
